# Top 5 NDA Coaching Institutes in Sikar: Best Institutes for NDA Preparation - **Status**: published - **Category**: Coaching - **Author**: Akshay Kakkar - **Published**: August 29, 2026 11:27 PM ## Article Every year, thousands of young students from Rajasthan and neighbouring states move to Sikar with one goal: to wear the uniform of the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam, conducted twice a year by the UPSC, is one of the toughest and most respected entrance examinations in the country. Clearing it means a direct path into the NDA at Khadakwasla, Pune and eventually, a commission as an officer. Sikar has quietly become one of India's biggest coaching destinations not just for NDA, but also for IIT-JEE, NEET, and other competitive exams. This reputation didn't happen overnight. Over the last 10–15 years, several dedicated defence academies have set up full-fledged residential campuses here, offering academics, physical training, and SSB (Services Selection Board) preparation under one roof. ## **Why Sikar Has Become a Hub for NDA and Defence Coaching** Sikar's rise as an education and coaching hub is often compared to Kota's reputation for IIT-JEE and NEET coaching. A few reasons explain why defence aspirants specifically choose Sikar: ● Affordable cost of living: Compared to metro cities, hostel and coaching fees in Sikar are far more affordable for middle-class families. ● Integrated school-cum-academy model: Many institutes in Sikar combine regular schooling (Classes 9–12) with NDA foundation coaching, so students don't lose academic years while preparing for defence exams. ● Disciplined, distraction-free environment: Most defence academies here are located outside the main city, offering a quiet, hostel-based, military-style routine that suits NDA preparation. ● Experienced faculty pool: Because so many institutes operate in the same city, Sikar has a concentration of teachers and retired defence personnel experienced specifically in NDA, CDS, AFCAT, and SSB coaching. ● Physical training infrastructure: NDA selection is not just about a written exam physical fitness and the SSB interview matter equally. Sikar's academies typically have grounds, PT instructors, and GTO (Group Testing Officer) practice areas. ## **Top 5 NDA Coaching Institutes in Sikar** ## **1. Prince NDA Academy, Sikar** Prince NDA Academy, run under the Prince Defence Academy and Prince Education Hub group, is located on Palwas Road, Sikar, and is our top recommendation for NDA aspirants in 2026. Here is a practical checklist to use when shortlisting an institute in Sikar: ### **1. Visit the Campus in Person** Photos and websites can look impressive, but nothing replaces an in-person visit. Check the classrooms, hostel rooms, mess, library, and physical training grounds yourself before enrolling. ### **2. Ask for Recent, Verifiable Results** Ask specifically for the previous 2–3 exam cycles' results, broken down by written exam qualification and final SSB selection not just a cumulative all-time number. This gives a more realistic picture of current teaching quality. ### **3. Understand the SSB Training Component** The NDA written exam is only the first hurdle. The SSB interview, spread over five days, tests personality, leadership, and physical tasks. Ask how much time and how many dedicated sessions the institute allocates to SSB preparation, GTO tasks, and mock interviews. ### **4. Check Faculty Background** Institutes with faculty who have a defence services background especially for physical training and SSB mentoring tend to offer more realistic, practical guidance than purely academic coaching staff. ### **5. Clarify the Complete Fee Structure** Ask for a written breakdown of what the quoted fee includes: tuition, hostel, mess, study material, uniform, and any additional charges for test series or SSB camps. ### **6. Talk to Current or Former Students** Wherever possible, speak directly with current students or alumni of the institute, rather than relying only on testimonials published by the institute itself. ### **7. Match the Institute to Your Academic Stage** If you are in Class 9–12, an integrated school-cum-NDA-coaching model may suit you better, so you don't have to manage two separate institutions. If you have already completed Class 12, a focused target-batch NDA/CDS academy may be more efficient. ## **Conclusion** Choosing an [NDA coaching institute in sikar](https://princedefence.com/) is one of the most important decisions a defence aspirant will make it shapes not just exam results, but also discipline, physical fitness, and personality development over one to three formative years. Sikar offers a genuinely strong set of options for this journey. Among the institutes covered in this guide, Prince NDA Academy (Prince Defence Academy) stands out as our top recommendation for 2026, on the strength of its large residential campus, integrated school-to-defence-coaching pathway, and transparently published, year-wise selection record. Rajasthan NDA Academy, Alpha NDA Academy, Gurukripa Defence Academy, and Govindam Defence Academy round out a strong top five, each with its own particular strengths in discipline, mentorship, experience, and flexibility. Whichever institute you choose, we strongly encourage a personal campus visit, a direct conversation with current students, and a clear written understanding of fees and course structure before enrolling. The right environment, combined with consistent hard work, is what ultimately turns an NDA aspirant into a commissioned officer. ## FAQs **Which is the best NDA coaching institute in Sikar in 2026?** Based on Google ratings and review volume in 2026, Alpha NDA Academy leads with a 5.0-star average (636+ reviews), followed by Gurukripa Defence Academy (4.7 stars, 829+ reviews).
